Cleaning Guide

ROOT Collection

Since our yoga mats are so grippy, dust, grime and oil can accumulate on your mat. We recommend cleaning your mat once per week or when you find that the yoga mat is not working as well as before. Luckily, it is easy to clean our ROOT yoga mats. Clean your yoga mat with some warm water, and a little bit of lemon. After cleaning, lay your mat down in a well ventilated area and let it dry naturally. Do not expose it to direct sunlight to avoid the colour fading from your mat.

FLOW Collection

While making this yoga mat, we thought about the yogis who sweat a lot (and we mean that in a good way)! That's why this yoga mat can be washed by hand or the washing machine. For the washing machine, use a gentle cycle, cold water, and without bleach. We recommend cleaning this yoga mat intensely once every six months. For daily cleaning, you can create a spray by mixing ¾ of water and ¼ of vinegar in a bottle.

After each cleaning (daily or intense), lay your mat down in a well ventilated area and let it dry naturally. Do not expose it to direct sunlight to avoid the colour fading from your yoga mat.
